Science Meets Art

In his work TopografĂa de un futuro incierto (Topography of an uncertain future), architect and visual artist Guillermo Anselmo Vezzosi uses VESL to explore the potential impact of sea level rise.

VESL will be featured in an upcoming interactive piece by architect and visual artist Guillermo Anselmo Vezzosi. His proposal was selected for inclusion in SACO Contemporary Art Festival, held annually in Antofagasta, Chile. This year's theme is 'Destiny', and Vezzosi opted for a vision of what sea level rise what might mean for our future. Projections from our Sea Level Rise Gravity simulation will be used in the creation of one or more installations that use familiar, full-scale objects (for example, a pedestrian bridge) to immerse the visitor in a terrain redefined by sea level change.

We will update this page with new information and images when they are available.
